To provide an electric parking brake device capable of appropriately operating even when power source voltage is reduced.SOLUTION: An electric parking brake device comprises: a linear motion member which is driven with an electric motor, activates a parking brake when moved in a forward direction and releases the same when moved in a backward direction opposite to the forward direction; and a controller which controls the electric motor. In activating the parking brake, the controller executes application control to stop energization of the electric motor when an energization amount of the electric motor reaches an application termination amount. In releasing the parking brake, the controller executes release control to stop the energization of the electric motor when energization duration of the electric motor exceeds a time threshold. In addition, when the energization amount does not reach the application termination amount in the application control, the controller executes downward correction of the time threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】 電動駐車ブレーキ装置において、電源電圧が低下した場合でも、適切に作動され得るものを提供する。【解決手段】 電動駐車ブレーキ装置は、「電気モータによって駆動され、前進方向に移動されることで駐車ブレーキを効かせ、前進方向とは逆方向である後退方向に移動されることで駐車ブレーキを解除する直動部材」と、電気モータを制御するコントローラと、を備える。コントローラは、駐車ブレーキを効かせる際に、電気モータへの通電量が適用終了量に到達した場合に電気モータへの通電を停止する適用制御を実行し、駐車ブレーキを解除する際に、電気モータへの通電時間が時間に係るしきい値を経過した場合に電気モータへの通電を停止する解除制御を実行する。更に、コントローラは、適用制御において、通電量が適用終了量に到達しない場合には、時間に係るしきい値を減少修正する。【選択図】 図3
