To provide an in-vehicle battery control unit capable of detecting a battery error when the ignition switch is off.SOLUTION: The in-vehicle battery control unit includes a voltage monitoring circuit for monitoring battery voltage; a control circuit that notifies an error of the battery based on battery information acquired from the voltage monitoring circuit via a predetermined communication circuit and is configured so that when the ignition switch turns ON, the voltage monitoring circuit and the control circuit start. The in-vehicle battery control unit includes at least a status detection circuit that detects the status of the battery when the ignition switch is OFF. The control circuit starts based on the detection result of the state detection circuit and notifies the error of the battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
