To carry out acquisition of a road surface condition with high accuracy while suppressing power consumption relating to the road surface condition acquisition.SOLUTION: A road surface condition acquisition system 11 acquires a road surface information acquisition section 41 for acquiring road surface information including the presence/absence of abnormality relating to a road surface in an advance direction of an own vehicle M; an inner pressure sensor 31 for detecting inner pressure information relating to inner pressures of tires 13; a master unit determination section 45 for performing a condition determination relating to the road surface in the advance direction of the own vehicle M on the basis of the road surface information; and a master unit control section 47 for controlling a detection frequency of the inner pressure information relating to the inner pressures of the tires 13 by the inner pressure sensor 31 on the basis of a result of the condition determination by the master unit determination section 45. In a case where it is determined that there is abnormality on the road surface in the advance direction of the own vehicle M as a result of the condition determination by the master unit determination section 45, the master unit control section 47 increases the subsequent detection frequency including the time point in which the determination is made, in relative to the detection frequency prior to making the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
