To estimate an internal resistance of a battery with good accuracy irrespective of a size of current value dispersion.SOLUTION: In an internal resistance estimation device 25 for estimating an internal resistance value of a battery 10 in an automobile, which has an electric motor 2 driven by the battery 10 as a power source, a first internal resistance estimation part 26 estimates an internal resistance value of the battery 10 on the basis of a first voltage value to a first current value of the battery 10 and a second voltage value to a second current value different from the first current value of the battery 10 when a dispersion value of a current value of the battery 10 is a threshold or more, and can estimate the internal resistance value of the battery 10 with good accuracy when the dispersion value of the current value is large. When the dispersion value of the curent value of the battery 10 is less than the threshold, the internal resistance value of the battery 10 is estimated by a second internal resistance estimation part 27 on the basis of a predetermined relationship of an internal resistance value with respect to any one of a current value and a voltage value of the battery 10 per hour, and the internal resistance value of the battery 10 can be estimated with good accuracy when the dispersion value of the current value is small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】電流値の分散の大小に関わらずバッテリの内部抵抗を精度良く推定する。【解決手段】バッテリ10により駆動させられる電動機2を動力源とする自動車でバッテリ10の内部抵抗値を推定する内部抵抗推定装置25で、バッテリ10の電流値の分散値が閾値以上のときに、第1内部抵抗推定部26によりバッテリ10の第1電流値に対する第1電圧値とバッテリ10の第1電流値とは異なる第2電流値に対する第2電圧値とに基づいてバッテリ10の内部抵抗値が推定され、電流値の分散値が大きいときにバッテリ10の内部抵抗値を精度良く推定できる。バッテリ10の電流値の分散値が閾値未満のときに、第2内部抵抗推定部27によりバッテリ10の時間ごとの電流値及び電圧値のいずれかに対する内部抵抗値の予め定められた関係に基づいてバッテリ10の内部抵抗値が推定され、電流値の分散値が小さいときにバッテリ10の内部抵抗値を精度良く推定できる。【選択図】図1
