To provide an air conditioning control system and an air conditioning control method, which can perform air conditioning control taking into account changes in number of persons in a room in future.SOLUTION: An air conditioning control system 10 for a vehicle includes a person information acquisition unit 66 and an air conditioning control unit 72 as functional components. The person information acquisition unit 66 acquires person information including increase or decrease in the number of users 14 in a passenger compartment 24 in future. On the other hand, the air conditioning control unit 72 controls an air conditioning device 26 in the passenger compartment 24 on the basis of the person information acquired by the person information acquisition unit 66 before the number of users 14 in the passenger compartment 24 changes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
