To provide a battery case structure which improves heat resistance while suppressing increase in weight.SOLUTION: A battery case structure comprises: a battery which is provided on the lower side of a floor panel of a vehicle; a lower case which covers the battery from the lower side; and an upper case 4 which has a horizontal plate part 11 arranged between the floor panel and the battery and covers the battery from the upper side. The thickness t2 along the vertical direction of an outer peripheral part 20 of the horizontal plate part 11 in the upper case 4 is thicker than the thickness t1 along the vertical direction of an inner peripheral part 30 of the horizontal plate part 11. The upper case 4 is formed into a plate shape with a metallic material. A plate-like reinforcement member 25 is attached to the outer peripheral part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
