To provide a suspension member that can be reduced in weight compared to conventional ones.SOLUTION: A front cross R portion 21 is integrated with a right side rail FR portion 41, and a front cross L portion 22 is integrated with a left side rail FR portion 51. The front cross R portion 21 and the front cross L portion 22 are welded to each other. Therefore, welding between a front cross portion 20 and each of side rails portions 40, 50 can be abolished, and a welding portion can be provided at the center in a vehicle left-right direction of the front cross portion 20. Consequently, the welding portion can be provided farthest from a suspension arm attachment portion 90, and the welding portion that is a weak point when an input is applied from a suspension arm can be prevented from receiving a large input. As a result, it is not necessary to increase a thickness of a suspension member 10 for the purpose of increasing strength of the welding portion, which can achieve weight reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】従来に比べて軽量化を図ることができるサスペンションメンバの提供。【解決手段】フロントクロスR部21が右サイドレールFR部41と一体化されており、フロントクロスL部22が左サイドレールFR部51と一体化されており、フロントクロスR部21とフロントクロスL部22が互いに溶接されている。そのため、フロントクロス部20とサイドレール部40,50との溶接を廃止して溶接個所をフロントクロス部20の車両左右方向中央部にすることができる。そのため、溶接個所をサスペンションアーム取付部90から最も離して設けることができ、サスペンションアームからの入力が加わった際に弱点である溶接部分に大入力が伝わることを抑制できる。よって、溶接部分の強度を高めるためにサスペンションメンバ10の板厚を大にする必要が無くなり、軽量化を図ることができる。【選択図】 図1
