To improve power supply redundancy in an arithmetic device controlling travel of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle arithmetic device comprises a device body 50 with a main arithmetic IC 12 mounted thereon; a first power supply line 17 which connects a first power supply section 51 and the main arithmetic IC 12; a voltage conversion IC 16 which reduces voltage of power which is supplied from a second power supply section 52 and higher than the voltage supplied through the first power supply section 51; a power supply monitoring IC 13 which detects abnormality in power supply from the first power supply section 51; and a second power supply line 18 which connects a downstream side of the voltage conversion IC 16 and the downstream side of the first power supply section 51 through a relay 19. When detecting the abnormality in the power supply from the first power supply section 51, the power supply monitoring IC 13 cuts off power supply from the first power supply section 51 and electrically connects the second power supply line 18 to the first power supply line 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
