To provide a vehicle battery control system that can achieve both improvement of a vehicle cruising distance and running performance as well as comfortable performance of an occupant.SOLUTION: Provided is a vehicle battery control system 10 including: a battery 14 arranged below a rear seat 13R; a seating sensor 17 that senses presence/absence of an occupant seated on the rear seat 13R; and a control device 20 that sets an output upper limit value or an input upper limit value of the battery 14. The control device 20 sets the output upper limit value or the input upper limit value of the battery 14 higher when it is sensed by the seating sensor 17 that no occupant is seated on the rear seat 13R, and sets the output upper limit value or the input upper limit value of the battery 14 lower when it is sensed by the seating sensor 17 that an occupant is seated on the rear seat 13R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
