To provide an electric vehicle which is mounted with a battery pack, stores a plurality of battery packs in a battery chamber under an indoor floor surface and leaves a margin in a time zone for charging of the battery pack.SOLUTION: There is provided an electric vehicle 1 for which a small-sized vehicle such as a one-box car is used and in which a battery chamber 7 is formed under an indoor floor surface 6 thereof. The maximum voltage of one battery pack 5 is configured to be equal to or less than low voltage 50 V, and the plurality of battery packs 5 are mounted on the battery chamber 7. The battery packs 5 are detachably connected to a vehicle 2 in series or in parallel, the battery chamber 7 is formed between the indoor floor surface and a battery chamber floor surface 8 formed under the indoor floor surface 6 of the vehicle 2, and a take-in/out port 12 of the battery chamber 7 is formed in a front passenger seat 20 adjacent to a driver seat 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
