To inhibit directions of torque of respective output shafts from being opposed to each other when transmitting power via a differential device.SOLUTION: A control device for a power transmission device includes: a first input shaft; a second input shaft for receiving input of power from a motor; a rear wheel side output shaft for outputting power to a first driving wheel; a front wheel side output shaft for outputting power to a second driving wheel; and a planetary gear device having a sun gear to which the second input shaft is connected, a carrier to which the front wheel side output shaft is connected, and a ring gear to which the first input shaft and the rear wheel side output shaft are connected, as three rotary elements, and engages an engagement device (Step S4) when the torque of the rear wheel side output shaft is equal to or lower than a threshold valve in the state that the motor outputs power (Step S3; YES).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
