To enable autonomous flight of an autonomous flying object under an environment where an obstacle exists.SOLUTION: A drone 1 includes: a measuring range control unit that measures a first distance which is a distance from an obstacle which exists in a first direction meeting a flight direction at 90 degrees rightward or leftward, to the drone 1, and measures a second distance which is a distance from an obstacle which exists in a second direction meeting the flight direction at an angle larger than 0 degree and smaller than 90 degrees from the first direction; a flight command unit that determines based on the first distance and the second distance a new flight direction of the drone 1; and a flight control unit that controls the flight of the drone 1 on the basis of the new flight direction determined by the flight command unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
