To provide a grab device capable of avoiding unnecessary additional gripping movement.SOLUTION: An electric grab device 1 includes a girder 3 connected to a crane 2, a plurality of buckets 4 provided rotatably with respect to the girder 3, a slide bar 5 rotatably connected to each of the buckets 4, a ball screw 6 moving the slide bar 5 to rotate each bucket 4, a servomotor 7 driving each bucket 4 to open/close by driving the ball screw 6, and a motor control part 16 for controlling the driving of the servomotor 7. The motor control part 16 drives the servomotor 7 by torque control when performing the closing drive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
