To provide a sound damping material superior in impact resistance and sound insulation and further superior in ice resistance and waterproofness.SOLUTION: The non-woven fabric surface including multiple entangled short fibers of a sound damping area 2 is exposed on the surface on the tire side and the opposite surface of a sound damping material 1, and the surface of a continuous resin area 3 is continuously exposed side by side and adjacent to the sound damping area. The sound damping area 2 is formed in this manner; therefore, there is no covering material on the top and back surfaces of the sound absorbing area 2, and sound absorbing performance of the sound absorbing area 2 is not reduced. Also, water absorbing performance is suppressed by the resin area 3, and thus ice resistance and waterproofness can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】耐衝撃性及び防音性に優れ、さらに耐着氷性、防水性に優れた防音緩衝材を提供する。【解決手段】防音緩衝材1のタイヤ側の表面と反対側の表面も防音緩衝領域2の互いに絡合した多数の短繊維を有する不織布表面が露出し、これと並設・隣接して実質的に連続して連続樹脂領域3表面が露出している。防音緩衝領域2がこのように形成される結果、防音緩衝領域2の表裏面共にこれを被覆するものはなく、被覆物によって防音緩衝領域2の吸音能力が低減されることはない。また樹脂領域3によって吸水性が抑えられて耐着氷性、防水性の向上が図られる。【選択図】図2
