To provide a lap-welded joint structure and a suspension member which may suppress or prevent the generation of a gas defect such as a wormhole causing the mechanical characteristic reduction.SOLUTION: The lap-welded joint structure is a lap-welded joint structure including a fillet welding part which joins aluminum alloy base materials. The lap-welded joint structure includes one or more protrusions which are arranged on a mating surface of one aluminum alloy base material, projecting toward and contact a mating surface of the other aluminum alloy base material, and are continuous or discontinuous along an extension direction of the fillet welding part. The lap-welded joint structure has a gap that is formed of the one aluminum alloy base material, the other aluminum alloy base material and the fillet welding part and communicates in the extension direction of the fillet welding part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
