To provide a driving traffic lane estimation device that can properly estimate a driving traffic lane.SOLUTION: A driving traffic lane estimation device comprises: a detection result acquisition unit that acquires a detection result of a detection device detecting a location where a vehicle drives; and a map storage unit that stores map information including traffic lane information on a road on which the vehicle drives. The driving traffic lane estimation device comprises a probability calculation unit that calculates the highest probability traffic lane in which a probability of the driving road being the driving traffic lane is highest, using the detection result the detection device detects, and the map information the map storage unit stores. The driving traffic lane estimation device comprises: a traffic lane storage unit that when the highest probability traffic lane the probability calculation unit calculates is continuously the same traffic lane over a prescribed update time, stores the highest probability traffic lane as a latest stored traffic lane; and an update time setting unit that sets an update time. In the driving traffic lane estimation device, the update time setting unit is configured to set the update time at a short time as the highest probability the probability calculation unit calculates gets higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】適切に走行車線を推定可能な走行車線推定装置を提供する。【解決手段】走行車線推定装置は、車両が走行している位置を検知する検知装置の検知結果を取得する検知結果取得部と、車両が走行している道路の車線情報を含む地図情報を記憶する地図記憶部とを備えている。走行車線推定装置は、検知装置が検知した検知結果と地図記憶部が記憶している地図情報とを用いて走行車線である確率が最も高い車線である最高確率車線を算出する確率算出部を備えている。走行車線推定装置は、確率算出部が算出した最高確率車線が所定の更新時間にわたって継続して同じ車線である場合に、最高確率車線を最新記憶車線として記憶する車線記憶部と、更新時間を設定する更新時間設定部とを備えている。更新時間設定部は、確率算出部が算出した最高確率が高いほど更新時間を短い時間に設定する走行車線推定装置。【選択図】図5
