To enable great obstruction of a detection range to be avoided even when an object such as a pedestrian comes close to a vehicle, in comparison with the case where the outer periphery of the vehicle is provided with only a close-range LiDAR.SOLUTION: A sensor fitting structure for a vehicle comprises a long-range LiDAR which is provided at a peripheral edge of a roof of the vehicle and which has a detection range extended obliquely downward in a view from the roof so as to detect an object around the vehicle. In the long-range LiDAR, the lower limit of a detection distance is in the range from 10 cm to 1 m.
