To provide appropriate signal information to a vehicle.SOLUTION: An information provision device comprises: a storage section for storing a signal control plan to be described below; an information processing section for generating signal information including first and second light colors to be described below and the number of the remaining seconds of the light colors based on the stored signal control plan; and a communication section for transmitting the generated signal information. The information processing section applies the maximum value and the minimum value of the number of the remaining seconds of the first light color to the signal information while the values are not determined at the point of time before the termination of a variable step of the signal control plan, and then, determines the maximum value and the minimum value of the number of remaining seconds of the first light color as the same values when the termination of the variable step is detected. The signal control plan comprises: a plurality of steps including the variable step; and data including the duration times of the respective steps. The first light color is the signal light color of a signal lamp for a vehicle to be displayed by an initial time including the variable step and a fixed step after the variable step.
