To prevent safety of an occupant from being threatened by inversion operation of an electric seat when the electric seat is moved and thereby a person or an object is caught between seats.SOLUTION: A seat control device 2 includes control parts 21a and 21b for controlling operation of a seat 30, a catching detection part 22 for detecting that an object is caught during moving of the seat 30, and a seat detection part 9 for detecting whether or not an occupant seats on the seat 30. When the catching detection part 22 detects an object being caught and the seat detection part 9 does not detect that the occupant seats on the seat, the control parts 21a and 21b move the seat 30 in a reverse direction by a predetermined amount. When the catching detection part 22 detects an object being caught and the seat detection part 9 detects that the occupant seats on the seat, the control parts 21a and 21b move the seat 30 in a reverse direction by an amount smaller than the predetermined amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
