To provide a device capable of achieving radio communication underwater.SOLUTION: An underwater radio communication device includes a host device 1 and an underwater device 2 that transmit and receive radio waves. The underwater device 2 includes: a transmission signal generation unit 5 that selectively generates a first transmission signal or a second transmission signal; a first underwater antenna 7 that generates a radio wave having a frequency within a first frequency band from the first transmission signal; and a second underwater antenna 8 that generates a radio wave having a frequency within a second frequency band higher than the first frequency band from the second transmission signal. The transmission signal generation unit 5 is configured to transmit the first transmission signal to the first underwater antenna 7 and the second transmission signal to the second underwater antenna 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
