To provide an improved nonwoven laminate for underbody shield applications.SOLUTION: There is provided a nonwoven laminate, including: a nonwoven layer (A) comprising multicomponent staple fibers; a nonwoven layer (B) optionally comprising multicomponent staple fibers or monocomponent staple fibers; a needled nonwoven layer (C) comprising monocomponent staple fibers (c1) and multicomponent staple fibers (c2); an optional nonwoven layer (D) comprising multicomponent staple fibers or monocomponent staple fibers; and optionally a nonwoven layer (E) comprising multicomponent staple fibers, wherein all fibers of the nonwoven laminate are polyester fibers and/or copolyester fibers, wherein the layer (C) has a basis weight of 500-2000 g/m2 determined according to DIN EN 29073-1:1992-08, and wherein the nonwoven laminate has a bending force of at least 6 N, determined according to ISO 178:2019 for 2 mm deflection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
