To suppress reduction of movable distance of a mobile object due to deterioration of a battery mounted on the mobile object when the battery is shared between a user of the mobile object and another user.SOLUTION: A battery management system 1 comprises: a battery capacity division unit 11 which virtually divides chargeable capacity of a battery 61 mounted on a mobile object 60 into a first area C1 and a second area C2 to allow use of the battery 61 in the first area C1 by a first user and use of the battery 61 in the second area C2 by a second user; a deterioration reduction amount estimation unit 12 which estimates a deterioration reduction amount as a reduction amount of the chargeable capacity of the battery 61 due to deterioration; and an allocation capacity adjustment unit 13 which reduces the chargeable capacity of the second area C2 by the deterioration reduction amount when the deterioration reduction amount is a first prescribed amount or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
