To provide a tire auto-location system and a tire auto-location method which can improve accuracy in determining a tire auto-location.SOLUTION: A first processing part 28 makes a plurality of tire communication instruments 4 respectively execute peak detection using output of an acceleration detecting part 11 that rotates in synchronization with tires 3, by transmitting trigger radio waves Str for position determination from an initiator 6 provided in a vehicle body 5 to the tire communication instruments 4, when a vehicle 2 is travelling on a curve road. A second processing part 29 obtains measurement information Sk measured based on timings of reception of the trigger radio waves Str and the peak detection in the tire communication instruments 4, by radio communication from each of the tire communication instruments 4. A third processing part 30 determines whether the tire communication instruments 4 are attached to the tires 3, by classifying the measurement information Sk obtained from each of the tire communication instruments 4 on the basis of a magnitude relation of values based on a difference in travelling track between at least either of left and right wheels and front and rear wheels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】タイヤオートロケーションの判定精度を向上できるタイヤオートロケーションシステム及びタイヤオートロケーション方法を提供する。【解決手段】第1処理部28は、車両2のカーブ走行時に、車体5に設けられたイニシエータ6から位置判定のトリガ電波Strを複数のタイヤ通信機4に送信することにより、タイヤ3と同期回転する加速度検出部11の出力を用いたピーク検出を、各々のタイヤ通信機4に実行させる。第2処理部29は、タイヤ通信機4においてトリガ電波Strの受信とピーク検出のタイミングとに基づき計測された計測情報Skを、タイヤ通信機4の各々から無線によって取得する。第3処理部30は、タイヤ通信機4の各々から取得した計測情報Skを、左右輪及び前後輪の少なくとも一方の走行軌道の違いに基づく値の大小関係によって分類することにより、タイヤ通信機4の各々がどのタイヤ3に取り付けられているのかを判定する。【選択図】図1
