To provide an optical axis control device of a vehicular headlamp which can reduce labor of initialization processing after conveyance in a vehicle adopting an auto-leveling technique.SOLUTION: An optical axis control device of a vehicular headlamp is a device for controlling an optical axis of a vehicular headlamp, wherein when an ignition switch of the vehicle is turned off, a controller 10 writes data such as a vehicular angle indicating an inclination in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle in a non-volatile memory 13, writes data of first positional information indicating a current position of the vehicle in the non-volatile memory 13, when the ignition switch of the vehicle is turned on, in a case in which the first positional information and second positional information do not coincide with each other, optical axis control of a headlight is performed using a vehicle angle or a predetermined value specified on the basis of the data stored in the non-volatile memory 13 as a current vehicle angle, and in a case in which the first positional information and the second positional information coincide with each other, the optical axis control of the headlight is performed by the vehicle angle obtained using acceleration obtained on the basis of the output of an acceleration sensor 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】オートレベリング技術を採用した車両における運搬後の初期化処理の手間を軽減することができる車両用前照灯の光軸制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両の前照灯の光軸を制御するための装置であって、コントローラ10は、車両のイグニッションスイッチがオフとなった際に車両の前後方向の傾きを示す車両角度等のデータを不揮発メモリ13に書き込むとともに、車両の現在位置を示す第1位置情報のデータを不揮発メモリ13に書き込み、車両のイグニッションスイッチがオンとなった際に、第1位置情報と第2位置情報とが一致していない場合には不揮発メモリ13に記憶されたデータに基づいて特定される車両角度又は所定値を現在の車両角度として用いて前照灯の光軸制御を行い、当該第1位置情報と第2位置情報とが一致している場合には加速度センサ12の出力に基づいて得られる加速度を用いて得られる車両角度によって前照灯の光軸制御を行う。【選択図】図1
