To provide a resin cover which has scratch resistance and low birefringence characteristics, has severe heat resistance characteristics required for a driver monitor, and is usable even though it is durable to a high temperature and high humidity environment in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A resin cover for a driver monitor includes a molding which is formed by injection molding and is composed of a thermoplastic resin, which contains 5 cm2 or more of a region that has a glass transition temperature of 115-150°C, an absolute value of a photoelastic coefficient of 10×10-12 Pa-1 or less, and an average absolute value of in-plane retardation at a wavelength of 850 nm of less than 20 nm, as a continuous projection area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】本発明の目的は、耐傷つき性と低複屈折特性を備え、かつ、ドライバモニタに要求される厳しい耐熱特性と車内の高温高湿環境下に耐えうるであっても活用可能な樹脂カバーを提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明のドライバモニタ用樹脂カバーは、ガラス転移温度が115~150℃の範囲にあり、光弾性係数の絶対値が10×10-12Pa-1以下であり、波長850nmにおける面内位相差の絶対値が平均20nm未満である領域を連続した投影面積として5cm2以上含む、射出成形で形成された熱可塑性樹脂から構成される成形体を含む、ことを特徴としている。【選択図】図3
