To provide a braking force inspection method of a disk type electromagnetic brake capable of obtaining a braking torque prediction value which can be evaluated in inspection by using a measured value of an element affecting the brake braking force which can be easily measured.SOLUTION: A braking force inspection method includes a calculation formula setting step for previously setting a regression formula in which braking torque (Nm) is an objective variable and at least static friction torque (Nm) is an explanatory variable as a calculation formula acquiring a prediction value of the braking torque at the time of subsequent inspection, with respect to a disk type electromagnetic brake provided in a device to be an inspection object. The calculation formula setting step includes: an actual measurement step in which a braking torque measurement step and a measurement step of the explanatory variable, which includes at least a step of measuring the static friction torque at the time of starting manual rotation by a torque wrench with respect to a motor rotation shaft from a stop state of the motor, are repeated plural times; and a regression analysis step for determining a regression coefficient and an intercept of the explanatory variable by performing a regression analysis regarding to all measured values obtained by the actual measurement step so as to obtain the regression formula.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】簡便に測定できるブレーキ制動力に影響する要素の測定値を用いて、検査時に評価可能な制動トルク予測値を得られるディスク式電磁ブレーキの制動力検査方法の提供。【解決手段】予め、検査対象となる装置に設けられるディスク式電磁ブレーキに対して、後の検査時にその制動トルクの予測値を取得する計算式として、制動トルク(Nm)が目的変数であると共に少なくとも静摩擦トルク(Nm)が説明変数である回帰式を設定する計算式設定工程を備え、該計算式設定工程は、制動トルク計測工程と少なくとも前記モータの停止状態からモータ回転軸に対するトルクレンチによる手動回転開始時の静摩擦トルクを測定する工程を含む説明変数の測定工程とを複数回繰り返す実測工程と、実測工程によって得られた全測定値について、回帰分析を行うことによって前記説明変数の回帰係数および切片とを決定して前記回帰式を得る回帰分析工程と、を備えるものとした。【選択図】 なし
