To provide an air conditioner, a vehicle, and a control method for an air conditioner which enable heating operation using waste heat of a device, and quickly start heating.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a compressor; a heat generating device; a radiator; a first heat exchanger for performing heat exchange between a coolant and air in an object area; an accumulator; a second heat exchanger for performing heat exchange between the coolant and the water; a first expansion valve provided in the middle of a first flow path; a second expansion valve provided in the middle of a second flow path; a third expansion valve provided in the middle of a third flow path; and a processor which sets the first expansion valve and the second expansion valve to predetermined openings and closes the third expansion valve when the compressor is activated, and closes the first expansion valve and the second expansion valve and opens the third expansion valve when determining that a predetermined condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
