To enable an external device to grasp the state of charging processing even when communication between the external device and charging equipment cannot be maintained.SOLUTION: A power control device 10 is provided upstream of a charger 50, and includes a control unit 110, a measurement unit 120, a communication unit 130, and a determination unit 140. The control unit 110 controls on/off of the current flowing to the charger 50, that is, the current flowing through an electric wire 40. The measurement unit 120 repeatedly measures a value that can specify the amount of power flowing to the charger 50, for example, the magnitude of the current. The communication unit 130 repeatedly transmits power amount information that allows identification of the measurement result by the measurement unit 120 to an external device while the current flowing through the electric wire 40 is on. The determination unit 140 causes the control unit 110 to turn off the current flowing through the electric wire 40 when communication between the power control device 10 and the external device is not maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】外部装置と充電設備との間の通信が維持できない場合が生じても、外部装置が充電処理の状態を把握できるようにする。【解決手段】電力制御装置10は、電力制御装置10は充電器50より上流側に設けられており、制御部110、測定部120、通信部130、及び判断部140を備えている。制御部110は、充電器50へ流れる電流すなわち電線40を流れる電流のオンオフを制御する。測定部120は、充電器50に流れる電力量を特定可能な値、例えば電流の大きさを繰り返し測定する。通信部130は、電線40を流れる電流がオンになっている間、測定部120による測定結果を特定可能な電力量情報を繰り返し外部装置に送信する。判断部140は、電力制御装置10と外部装置の間の通信が維持されていない場合に、制御部110に、電線40を流れる電流をオフにさせる。【選択図】図2
