To provide a road surface state information provision system capable of providing road deterioration information by acquiring the same in an early stage.SOLUTION: A road surface state information provision system measures a motor current value of an electrically-driven power steering device EPS with a current sensor 34. If an increased amount from a reference motor current value corresponding to a tire rudder angle exceeds a predetermined increment threshold value, it is determined that there are ruts, and traveling information obtained by associating the determination information with information on a position of a self vehicle is transmitted to a data center DS. In the data center DS, deterioration indices of the road surfaces are produced for each position on road surfaces based on traveling information collected from a plurality of general vehicles V, V,... and road surface deterioration estimated information obtained by associating information on the deterioration indices with position information on a surface corresponding to the information is transmitted to an administrator terminal device ATE. A road administrator visually checks images displayed on the administrator terminal device ATE to determine whether or not repair at each of positions of the road surfaces is necessary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】路面の劣化の情報を早期に取得して提供することができる路面状態情報提供システムを実現する。【解決手段】電動パワーステアリング装置EPSのモータ電流値を電流センサ34によって計測する。タイヤ舵角に応じた基準モータ電流値からの増加量が所定の増加閾値を超えた場合に轍が存在していると判定し、この判定情報と自車両の位置の情報とを関連付けた走行情報をデータセンタDSに発信する。データセンタDSでは、複数の一般車両V,V,…から収集した走行情報に基づいて路面の位置毎に路面状態の劣化指標を作成し、この劣化指標の情報と該情報に該当する路面の位置情報とを関連付けた路面劣化推定情報を管理者端末装置ATEに発信する。道路管理者は、管理者端末装置ATEに表示された画像を目視し、各路面位置における補修の必要性の有無を判断することになる。【選択図】図1
