To enable assisting, by the power of an electric motor, the engine power of a PTO-equipped vehicle, without changing an internal structure of a conventional PTO-equipped vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive assist device 1 comprises an electric motor 14, a reduction gear 15 and a PTO connection shaft 16, and the electromagnetic clutch 18. Therein, the electric motor 14, the reduction gear 15, the PTO connection shaft 16 and the electromagnetic clutch 18 are configured to form an integral unit that can be attach to/detached from a portion of a PTO shaft 3 of a PTO-equipped vehicle 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
