To provide an operation support device and a computer program capable of generating a travel trajectory which minimizes abrupt turning or deceleration when a vehicle passes through a curved section as a recommended travel trajectory.SOLUTION: An operation support device is adapted to: acquire a planned travel route where a vehicle travels; sets a passing point between coordinates arranged along a center line of a traffic lane on which the vehicle plans to travel and an inner compartment line of the curve with respect to a curved section including the curve using map information including information on a compartment line particularly when the acquired planned travel route includes a curve; generate a travel trajectory passing through the passing point as a recommended travel trajectory with respect to the curved section; and perform operation support of the vehicle on the basis of the generated travel trajectory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18

    【課題】カーブ区間を走行する際に急な旋回や減速が行われることを抑制した走行軌道を車両の走行が推奨される走行軌道として生成することを可能にした運転支援装置及びコンピュータプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】車両が走行する走行予定経路を取得し、特に取得した走行予定経路にカーブを含む場合に、区画線に関する情報を含む地図情報を用いて、当該カーブを含むカーブ区間を対象にして車両が走行する予定の車線の中心線に沿って配置された座標点とカーブの内側の区画線との間に通過点を設定し、カーブ区間を対象にして通過点を通過する走行軌道を、車両の走行が推奨される走行軌道として生成し、生成された走行軌道に基づいて車両の運転支援を行うように構成する。【選択図】図18
