To provide a driving device of a low-speed electric vehicle, which can suppress a control state of a motor from being influenced by supplied voltages from a battery and improve performance in making the low-speed electric vehicle continuously run when windings of the motor are broken and when motor drivers fail.SOLUTION: A driving device, which drives a low-speed electric vehicle, is equipped with: a motor (60) comprising a rotor (63) and two stator windings (61 and 62); two motor drivers (71 and 72); an operation amount sensor (80) that detects an operation amount correlation value correlating with an operation amount of an accelerator operating member (21); and a controller (75) that controls the two motor drivers on the basis of the operation amount correlation value detected by the operation amount sensor. The motor, the two motor drivers and the controller are integrated into one module (50). The operation amount sensor includes a deforming member (83) that twists and deforms according to the operation amount and two distortion gauges (81 and 82) that detect a twist-deformation amount of the deforming member as the operation amount correlation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
