To disclose a technique for increasing strength of a vehicular reinforcement having a two-stage groove structure as compared with a vehicular reinforcement having a one-stage groove structure, while suppressing bulkiness.SOLUTION: A vehicular reinforcement 10 includes: a reinforcement body 30 which extends by forming a cross sectional shape in which a second square groove section 21 is caved from a bottom side section 12 of a first square groove section 11; and an expansion regulation member 40 which regulates expansion of a pair of side sections 13 of the first square groove section 11. When a plate thickness of the reinforcement body 30 is t, a width of the bottom side section 12 of the first square groove section 11 is W1, a width of a bottom side section 22 of the second square groove section 21 is W2, a depth of a groove section of a total of the first and second square groove sections 11 and 21 is H1, and a depth of the second square groove section 21 is H2, t/W1=Rt, W2/W1=Rw, H2/H1=Rh, 0.008≤Rt, 0.33≤Rw≤0.9, and 0.1≤Rh≤0.5 are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】二段溝構造の車両用リンフォースを、一段溝構造の車両用リンフォースに比べて嵩張りを抑えつつ強度を高くする技術を開示する。【解決手段】本開示の車両用リンフォース10は、第1の角溝部11の底辺部12から第2の角溝部21が陥没する断面形状をなして延びるリンフォース本体30と、第1の角溝部11の1対の側辺部13の拡がりを規制する拡がり規制部材40とを有する。そして、リンフォース本体30の板厚をtとし、第1の角溝部11の底辺部12の幅をW1とし、第2の角溝部21の底辺部22の幅をW2とし、第1と第2の角溝部11,21を合わせた溝部の深さをH1とし、第2の角溝部21の深さをH2とすると、t/W1=Rt,W2/W1=Rw,H2/H1=Rh,0.008≦Rt,0.33≦Rw≦0.9,0.1≦Rh≦0.5、になっている。【選択図】図3
