To provide a position grasping method and a position grasping system of a hanging body capable of easily grasping a lifting height with respect to the reference level of the hanging body lifted by a crane.SOLUTION: In a position grasping method of a hanging body, there is acquired captured image data 20 of a hanging body target 2 placed on the hanging body 33 taken by an imaging apparatus 3 installed at the tip 31a of a boom 31 of a crane 30. A calculation device 8 is used to: detect the target size PS1 of the hanging body target 2 in the captured image data 20 based on a target detection model that has trained, through machine learning, using the image data of the hanging body target 2 as training data and on captured image data 20; and calculate a target separation distance H1 of the hanging body target 2 with respect to the imaging apparatus 3 based on the detected data. The calculation device calculates the target separation distance H3 of the hanging body target 2 with respect to the reference plane R based on the target separation distance H1 and on the image-capture height H2 of the imaging apparatus 3 with respect to the reference plane R entered by the calculation device 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】クレーンによって吊上げられた吊体の基準面に対する吊上げ高さを簡易に把握できる吊体の位置把握方法および位置把握システムを提供する。【解決手段】クレーン30のブーム31の先端部31aに設置した撮影装置3により、吊体33に配置した吊体用ターゲット2を撮影した撮影画像データ20を取得する。演算装置8により、吊体用ターゲット2の画像データを教師データとして機械学習されたターゲット検出モデルと撮影画像データ20とに基づいて、撮影画像データ20での吊体用ターゲット2の大きさPS1を検出し、その検出データに基づいて、撮影装置3に対する吊体用ターゲット2のターゲット離間距離H1を算出する。ターゲット離間距離H1と、演算装置8に入力された基準面Rに対する撮影装置3の撮影高さH2とに基づいて、基準面Rに対する吊体用ターゲット2のターゲット離間距離H3を算出する。【選択図】図1
