To enable the reduction of the workload in designing or manufacturing a wire harness in response to changes in the specifications or types of various auxiliary machines mounted on vehicles.SOLUTION: Each constituent included in the whole circuit of a vehicular wire harness is classified into three layers of an upstream circuit, an independent domain circuit, and a zone circuit. This method has a procedure for deciding the constitution of a first sub harness WH1 belonging to the upstream circuit, a procedure for deciding the constitution of the second sub harness WH2 belonging to the independent domain circuit, a procedure for deciding the constitution of a third sub harness WH3 belonging to the zone circuit, and a procedure for integrating the sub harness, the second sub harness, and the third sub harness. The examination for optimizing a design change of a wire harness or a production method of a wire harness in response to a specification change on the vehicle side becomes easy.
