To protect a power control unit, a cabin, and a battery chamber from an impact load caused during a front collision.SOLUTION: In a front frame structure for an electric vehicle, each front side frame is disposed in an extra space between a side wall of a motor room and a side surface of a power control unit, and the front side frame has a wall upper part of a rear part and an arm-shaped part of a front part. A first inclined surface part is formed having a predetermined elevation angle at a lower part of a wall-shaped part so as to extend forward from the rear part. A second inclined surface part is formed having a predetermined elevation angle on a lower part of the arm-shaped part to extend forward from an end of the first inclined surface part. The front side frames and lower side frames provided at left and right sides of the lower frame are joined, and the joint between front ends of the front side frame and the lower side frame is reinforced by a front reinforcement. A side surface of each upper valley line part to which the inclined surface parts are joined and a side surface of the lower side frame facing a lower side of the upper valley line part are coupled by a rear reinforcement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
