To provide a drive recording device, a drive recording method, and a drive recording program that can record whether a self vehicle has safely travelled through a traffic intersection without requiring communication with a road device and without calculating a distance from the self vehicle to a stop line of the traffic intersection.SOLUTION: A drive recording device comprises: a first determination unit 31 that determines whether or not a lamp color of a traffic light detected is in a red state; a second determination unit 32 that determines whether or not the traffic light has gone out from a frame in a captured image acquired by a camera 2 with the lamp color remaining determined in the red state; a first calculation unit 33 that, when it is determined that the traffic light has gone out of the frame with the lamp color remaining in the red state, calculates a red travelled-distance, which is a travelled distance in a state where it is determined that the lamp color is in the red state, on the basis of a red duration for which the determination that the lamp color is in the red state has continued before going out of the frame and information on a vehicle velocity; and an event recording unit 37 that creates, if the red travelled-distance calculated is equal to a threshold value or greater, an event that the vehicle has travelled through a traffic intersection at a red signal and records the event.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
