To provide a traffic detection system capable of performing vehicle detection by detecting a vehicle from an image obtained by plotting a scan result with the use of LiDAR devices.SOLUTION: In a traffic detection system 100, LiDAR devices 110 installed on a road 200 radiate a laser beam for scan to cross with a road surface, receive reflection light, and obtain at least scan irradiation angle data, distance data to a reflection object to be calculated from a measurement time difference, and scan measurement time data. A point group plot processing section 130 plots a point group from the irradiation angle data, the distance data, and the measurement time data as point group data in a time space along a temporal axis. A vehicle detection section 150 includes a point group separation processing section 151, so as to estimate a point group of one group due to one passing vehicle 300 passing on the road 200 from a point group trajectory formed by the point group data, to separate the point group, and to detect the separated point group of the one group as the passing vehicle 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 LiDAR装置を用い、その走査結果をプロットした画像から車両を検出して車両検知を行うことができる交通検知システムを提供する。【解決手段】 交通検知システム100は、道路200に設置したLiDAR装置110により道路面と交わるように走査するレーザー光を照射して反射光を受光し、少なくとも、走査の照射角度データと、測定時間差から算出される反射物までの距離データと、走査の測定時刻データを得る。点群プロット処理部130により照射角度のデータと距離のデータと測定時刻データから時間軸に沿った時空間内の点群データとしてプロットする。車両検出部150が点群分離処理部151を含み、点群データが形成する点群軌跡から道路200を通過する1台の通過車両300に起因する一群の点群を推定して分離し、分離した一群の点群を通過車両300として検出する。【選択図】図2
