To obtain a wind speed correction device capable of correcting a wind speed value corresponding to a wind direction observed by an anemometer into a wind speed value received by a vehicle passing through an installation position of the anemometer and taking the type of the vehicle into account.SOLUTION: A wind speed correction device includes a wind speed and wind speed observation data reception unit 52, a passing train information reception unit 51, and a wind speed correction unit 58. The wind direction and wind speed observation data reception unit 52 receives wind direction and wind speed observation data including a wind direction observation value and a wind speed observation value observed by an anemometer 30 installed along a railroad track 100. The passing train information reception unit 51 receives passing train information including vehicle type information on the type of a vehicle 110 passing through the track 100. The wind speed correction unit 58 calculates a wind speed correction value obtained by correcting a wind speed observation value on the basis of correction amount information and a wind direction observation value corresponding to the vehicle type information in a plurality of pieces of correction amount information obtained by associating a wind direction with a correction amount for correcting a wind speed observation value in each type of the vehicle 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
