To provide a coil unit which can improve serviceability of devices and components on a power transmission side while maintaining an output and efficiency in desired power charging/supplying.SOLUTION: A coil unit 10 comprises: a coil 13; a housing 11 which houses the coil 13; and an inner member 17 which is inserted into a hollow core region 13a of the coil 13. The coil 13 contactlessly transmits power to a power reception apparatus. The housing 11 is fixed to a rear surface of a lid MC on a manhole MH which is embedded in the ground of a travel path. The inner member 17 penetrates the housing 11 so as to protrude to the outside. A surface of the inner member 17 is exposed to the outside from a surface of the lid MC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
