To provide an early detection of a driver's microsleep while driving, which appears before a drowsy driving accident occurs, and a safety measure based on it by analyzing a process of drowsy driving in real driving situations.SOLUTION: Based on an image of a driver while driving captured by an interior camera 3, the driver's anti-sleepiness action and signs of microsleep behavior are detected, based on the image of the vehicle while driving captured by an exterior camera 5, the vehicle behavior abnormality is detected, an increased ratio of the detected anti-sleepiness action of the driver, the sign of microsleep action, or the detected result of the vehicle behavior abnormality are measured, and it is determined that there is a possibility that the driver causes a collision when the increased ratio has a predetermined relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】実際の運転シーンにおける居眠り運転のプロセスを解析することにより、居眠り運転による事故の前段階で現れる運転中の運転者のマイクロスリープの早期発見と、それに基づく安全対策を提供する。【解決手段】車内カメラ3により撮影される運転中の運転者の撮像に基づいて、運転者の抗眠気行動及びマイクロスリープ行動兆候を検出し、車外カメラ5により撮影される運転中の車両の撮像に基づいて、車両挙動異常を検出し、検出された運転者の抗眠気行動、マイクロスリープ行動兆候又は車両挙動異常の検出結果の増加率を測定し、前記増加率が所定の関係である場合に、運転中の運転者が衝突事故を起こす可能性があると判定する。【選択図】図1
