To provide a sandwiching device which enables improvement of work efficiency in transport and installation work of construction panels and is easily handled.SOLUTION: A sandwiching device 10 includes: sandwiching arms 12 which swing at left and right sides and sandwich left and right end surfaces of an ALC panel P at lower ends: a lifting shaft 13 which is hung by a lifting device to move up or down; and link members 15 each connecting the lifting shaft 13 with the sandwiching arm 12; a connection shaft 14 located above the lifting shaft 13; and a restriction member 16 which restricts the lifting shaft 13 from moving up or down. The restriction member 16 has: a first restriction member 161 which may rotate around the lifting shaft 13; a second restriction member 164 which may rotate around the connection shaft 14; and an operation plate 163 which restricts rotation of the first restriction member 161 and the second restriction member 164.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
