To provide a screw propeller capable of suppressing a cavitation occurrence at all ship speeds.SOLUTION: A screw propeller 10 comprises multiple rotary vanes 2 radially attached to an outer circumference of a rotationally driven boss part. The rotary vane 2 comprises at least one conduit pipe 4 with a hollow cross section extending radially. The screw propeller is configured such that an opening at one end of the conduit pipe 4 is exposed to the outside in the vicinity of a vane tip of the rotary vane 2, and water introduced through an opening at the other end of the conduit pipe 4 is drawn out from the opening at the one end of the conduit pipe 4 through the conduit pipe 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
