The present invention relates to an air capsule protector for a vehicular door, which is attached to a chassis of a vehicle to prevent generation of damage due to being in contact with other vehicle, and a method for manufacturing the same. Further specifically, the air capsule protector for a vehicular door comprises: an impact alleviation layer, a skin layer and a protective layer. The impact alleviation layer is made of soft material and has a plurality of air holes irregularly and closely formed on an interior thereof. The skin layer is made of material equal to the material of the impact alleviation layer, is integrally formed on an exterior surface of the impact alleviation layer, and includes no air hole or few air holes minutely formed thereon. The protective layer is formed on an exterior surface of the skin layer. Therefore, coating liquid with desired color is applied to a bottom surface of a mold such that a post-process for painting and coating after forming is deleted, thereby reducing the number of processes. Moreover, a high pressure foaming method is selected such that a skin layer having air holes tightly formed thereon is formed on the bottom surface, thereby reinforcing the surface. Furthermore, diameters of air holes, which are dense, become larger as being away from the bottom surface toward the upper side such that the impact alleviation layer with low density of air holes is formed, thereby increasing buffering effect and absorbing and alleviating vibration and noise due to operation of an engine when the chassis is mounted. The air capsule protector for a vehicular door is made of flexible material by discharging polyurethane to be freely and detachably attached to any type of curved surface of the chassis without damage to a design concept of the chassis.

    본 발명은 자동차의 차체에 부착되어 타 차량과의 접촉에 의한 손상발생을 방지하기 위한 차량도어용 에어캡슐 프로텍터 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 연성의 재료로 이루어지고 내부에 다수의 기공이 불규칙하고 치밀하게 형성된 충격완화층과; 상기 충격완화층의 외면에 상기 충격완화층과 동일한 재료로서 일체로 형성되고 기공을 거의 포함하지 않거나 미세하게 형성된 스킨층 ; 및 상기 스킨층의 외면에 형성되어 상기 스킨층을 외부환경으로부터 보호하기 위한 보호층을 포함한다. 따라서, 금형의 저면에 소망하는 색상의 코팅액을 도포하여 성형 후 도색코팅을 위한 후가공이 배제되므로 공정이 단축되고, 고압 발포 방식을 채택함에 따라 저면에는 기공이 조밀하게 형성된 스킨층이 형성됨으로써, 표면의 강화효과를 가지며, 저면으로부터 상향을 향하여 조밀한 기공의 구경이 커지면서 기공의 밀도가 낮은 충격완화층이 형성되어 완충효과가 증대되며, 차체 장착 시 엔진가동에 의한 진동과 소음을 흡수완화시키며, 폴리우레탄으로 발포하여 플렉시블(Flexible)한 재질로 성형됨으로써, 차체의 디자인 컨셉(Concept)을 훼손하지 않으면서도 차체의 어떠한 곡면에서도 자유롭게 탈부착이 가능한 차량도어용 에어캡슐 프로텍터 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다.
