본 발명은 타이어 펑크 밀봉제 및 이와 같은 펑크 밀봉제를 내장 펑크 밀봉제로서 함유하는 공기압 타이어에 관한 것이다. 상기 밀봉제 조성물은, 실리카 강화제, 및 상승 효과를 갖는 것으로 관찰된, 균형있고 상호협력적인 오가노퍼옥사이드들의 조합물(소량의 4,4'-다이(3급 부틸퍼옥시) 발러레이트 탈중합 개시제와 다량의 다이쿠밀 퍼옥사이드 탈중합 전개제로 구성됨)의 존재 하에서 탈중합된 부틸 고무를 함유한다.
A tire sealant precursor composition is disclosed comprising a butyl rubber and a combination of organoperoxides comprising 4,4-di-(tertiary butylperoxy) valerate and dicumyl peroxide. The ratio of dicumyl peroxide to 4,4-di-(tertiary butylperoxy) valerate is in a range of from 3/1 to 30/1. The composition further comprises a reinforcing filler comprising silica. Also a pneumatic tire with such a partially depolymerized composition as a built-in sealant layer is disclosed as well as a method of manufacturing.
