액화가스가 저장된 저장탱크에서 액화가스가 누설되었을 때, 신속하게 감지할 수 있는 선박이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 미량의 누설 액화가스를 감지할 수 있는 저장유닛 및 이를 사용한 선박은, 퍼지공간에 주입된 퍼지가스가 항상 외부로 흐르도록 구성된다. 그러므로, 퍼지공간에 설치된 센서와 이격된 퍼지공간의 부위로 액화가스가 누설되거나, 퍼지공간으로 미량의 액화가스가 누설되어도, 신속하게 감지할 수 있다.
