The present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a propulsion unit having a rim foil, a propulsion unit having a rim foil, and a flight vehicle, which can significantly reduce drag during forward flight while protecting a propeller from surrounding obstacles. To this end, according to the present invention, the method for manufacturing a propulsion unit having a rim foil comprises: a plate member forming step of forming an airfoil-type plate member in which the outline on the side view forms an airfoil shape; a rim foil forming step of forming a through hole in the airfoil-type plate member to form a rim foil member whose outline on the side view forms at least a part of the shape of the airfoil; and a propeller installation step of installing a propeller in the through hole. Provided are a propulsion unit having a rim foil manufactured by the described method, and a flight vehicle including the same.

    본 발명은 주변 장애물로부터 프로펠러를 보호하는 동시에 전진 비행 시 항력을 크게 줄일 수 있는 림포일을 갖는추진유닛의 제조방법, 림포일을 갖는 추진유닛 및 비행체를 제공함에 있다. 이를 위한 본 발명은 측면도 상의 외곽선이 에어포일 형태를 이루는 에어포일형 판부재를 형성하는 판부재 형성단계; 상기 에어포일형 판부재에 통공을 형성하여, 측면도 상의 외곽선이 에어포일의 적어도 일부 형태를 이루는 림포일 부재를 형성하는 림포일 형성단계; 및 상기 통공에 프로펠러를 설치하는 프로펠러 설치단계;를 포함하여 제조되는 림포일을 갖는 추진유닛과 이를 포함하는 비행체를 제공한다.
