Provided are a system and a method for detecting vehicle axle control. The system for detecting vehicle axle control comprises: a front camera obtaining a front image including license plate information of a vehicle for determining whether there is a variable axle controlling an axle; a side camera unit capturing a side surface of the vehicle to obtain at least one side image including a wheel; and an axle control detection device analyzing at least the side image through an AI (Artificial Intelligent) algorithm to determine the number of ground axles driving by coming in contact with the ground surface among at least three axles and generating ground axle information when a vehicle has at least n axles (n is a whole number of at least 3).

    차량 차축 조작 검지 시스템 및 방법이 제공된다. 차량 차축 조작 검지 시스템은 차축을 조작한 가변축의 존재 여부를 판단하기 위한 차량의 번호판 정보를 포함하는 전면 이미지를 획득하는 전면 카메라와, 차량의 측면을 촬영하여 바퀴를 포함하는 적어도 하나의 측면 이미지를 획득하는 측면 카메라부와, 차량이 n(n은 3이상의 정수)축 이상의 차축을 가지는 차량이면, 적어도 하나의 측면 이미지를 AI(Artificial Intelligent) 알고리즘으로 분석하여 3축 이상의 차축들 중 지면에 닿아 구동 중인 지면축 개수를 판단하고, 지면축 정보를 생성한다.
