Disclosed are a system and a method for supplying fuel of a liquefied gas propulsion ship. The system for supplying fuel of a liquefied gas propulsion ship includes: a fuel storage tank provided on the ship to store liquefied gas to be supplied to an engine in the ship; a fuel supply line in which the liquefied gas is supplied to the engine from the fuel storage tank; a return line connected from a downstream portion of the engine to an upstream portion of the engine to recirculate the liquefied gas; and a separator separating vapor and liquid of the liquefied gas provided on the return line to be recirculated. Only the liquid separated from the separator of the recirculated liquefied gas is supplied to the upstream portion of the engine.
