The present invention relates to a technology for fast charging of electric vehicle batteries, and to a fast charging method of electric vehicle batteries, which uses pulse modulation of the voltage, current, and frequency of charging power according to charging stages so as to safely perform charging in a short period of time and prevent the deterioration process that shortens the life of a battery. The fast charging method of electric vehicle batteries comprises a step of detecting the voltage, current and temperature of an electric vehicle battery and calculating the residual capacity, a first constant current charging step (a), a second constant current charging step (b), a constant voltage charging step (c), and a pulse voltage charging step (d).
